Why I love sunsets. #serenity.

I am exasperated.

Things is, I have been approved of a year valid nonimmigrant tourist visa for my missionary training in Louisiana, USA. But the visa validity falls days short for the completion of the training and I wanted to adjust that. So I requested an extension so I don’t stay in the US as an illegal alien and get deported, if caught.

The phone agent of the US Embassy call center said that processing takes 5-7 days and I should be receiving my passport back within 7 days. Now it’s the 7th day and I still don’t have my visa. I called their courier service and they don’t have it yet which means that tomorrow, which is the 8th day already, I still won’t have my visa.

This is really killing my patience. One plane ticket reservation has expired and another one will tomorrow and the tickets are getting more expensive. And I have to leave ASAP since the training will start very soon and I had to buy all my uniforms online which take days. Sigh.

Father God, please intervene and help me be patient. Although I wish to receive visa on the 9th day (please…), I’ll still say not my will but Your will my God, one and only.
